Hillary Dodge is the Branch Manager for the Meadows Branch of the Boulder Public Library. In her role as librarian, she has organized several well-attended author visits (most recently with Jonathan Maberry last February) and has been involved in several professional organizations including the American Library Association. She has been an HWA member since 2009 and has served on the HWA Library committee, as well as manning the HWA booth at Book Expo America.
Hillary has been making up stories since early childhood. Early works include construction paper stapled booklets with titles such as The Unseen and They Only Come Out at Night. She has published nonfiction articles and specialty chapters in the field of Library Science, as well as one educational guidebook about the Civil War. Currently, she has several short stories under review for publication. Her writing reflects a true passion for speculative fiction (horror, science fiction, fantasy). Currently, she’s completing a novel, with interest from two literary agencies.Hillary is a happily married mother and has a two year-old daughter. Aside from writing, she enjoys eating, traveling, watching movies, and adventures in places past the end of the pavement.
